CORONATION CROWN

Linlithgow Gala Day (2026) | Designed by Nicole Green

Commissioned by the Linlithgow Gala Day board, this crown was crafted using laser-cut brass sheeting (courtesy of Lasered Components). I hand drew a to scale template of the pieces and it was then translated into CAD by Craig Douglas. It was cold shaped using a wooden former I made and then silver soldered together. The gems were fixed to the base using solder for the rhinestone pieces and epoxy glue for the acrylic pieces. The piece was polished and buffed and each gem was individually fixed into their respective holders. The piece was finished with a velvet cap and a faux fur trim.
